Stories inspire people.
However finding stories to share can be difficult. Your congregation received recently or will in the next few days the ELCA World Hunger Packet. In this packet are stories of how hunger needs are met plus information regarding the way financial gifts are used to alleviate hunger. These stories are also available at www.elca.org. Click on the tab "Our Faith in Action" and from there you will find links to stories and ready to print resources. If you are also responsible for maintaining a bulletin board, be sure to open from the packet the brochure "Stand With Africa". This brochure opens into a poster showing how mission support dollars and other gifts support the needs in Africa.
